I'm a communicator. I love words that are art, and art made of words. I puzzle together written messages with visual context to promote deeper understanding and connections.
I'm a marketer. I build marketing that is audience-centric, researching and anticipating customer journey, pain points, service opportunities, resulting in optimal satisfaction and retention.
I'm a cheerleader. You won't catch me in a short skirt, but I find great satisfaction in empowering my team and others around me with the goals of sharing our successes and pushing each other to reach our individual potentials for the overall success of the project. I offer and accept feedback, believing in the power of collective insight and knowledge. I believe everyone wants to do their best, and my personal best includes supporting others in their journeys of growth.
I'm an analytics junkie. I seek to implement data-backed optimization of everything from customer satisfaction scores to campaign and spend optimization. Efficiency improves numbers, accuracy and processes, and I seek ways to leverage technology to increase efficiencies.
I'm an author. I write a bi-weekly column for the Kansas City Star (click here and scroll down to the Diversions section to find me), as well as magazine articles, websites, educational materials. My book, The Society of Seasonal Secretkeepers Field Guide: Ancient Secrets for Modern Kids was a labor of love for children everywhere, but especially (I admit) for my own. Collaborating with my husband, my mother, and two of my word-smith friends, we created an exciting journey for kids who are ready to learn the truth about Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Elf, and the Tooth Fairy.
I reside in the Kansas City area with my husband, two kids, two beagles, and a blood-thirsty cat. If you'd like to work with me, Send me an email.
